Definition and Treatment of
Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS)

  • Definition

PMOS is a condition where abnormalities occur in the function of the ovaries due to various causes leading to unstable secretion of female hormones so that normal ovulation cannot be carried out. These ovulation disorders not only cause infertility, but also lead to various forms of diseases such as climacteric syndrome.

  • Treatments

As treatments, assisted reproductive technology, the use of hormone preparations, and PTEN inhibitors have been reported, but there is no clear treatment.

The research results and treatment mechanisms presented by this research team confirmed the efficacy of UNIPla for the treatment of Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome through antioxidant activity, inhibition of apoptosis, increases in metabolic and vascular functions, and promotion of follicle development.
